Generation 1 in review

Well, since my 100 babies file is perpetually fucked I deleted it. EA really needs to just burn in hell. Honestly. I pay money to play with your products, therefore there should be a way to fix errors like that. My god. You're all so unbelievable stupid.

But I did manage to get the Generation 1 in review done and I'm going to post this as a final hurrah because I won't be continuing this challenge for months to come.

The End?

I don't know what's happening, I'm practically in tears right now because the people on the sims3.com are so unhelpful.

Everytime I open the file I have this challenge on. I get an error message that says "A serious error has occurred while loading 100babies.sim3. It is highly recommended that you restart the application."

Well, they say restart the application but what they really mean is go a whole bunch of bullshit that you're probably too young to understand because you're a teenager and you don't waste your time figuring out every odd and end on how a computer works, because let me tell you, restarting the game doesn't do shit.

There's a few threads on thesims3.com that have similar problems relating to it. But the first one involves doing a thing that the microsoft website puts it as "may make your computer unusable" And knowing my luck that's exactly what will happen.

And then there's another thread http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/63916.page#785477 that explains what to do in this situation, but here's the question, how in the hell do you tell if a file is corrupted. It's not as if I can open the file and view it.

If anyone knows what to do, please let me know. From the way it sounds it sounds like the only way to fix it is to delete the file all together which means I can't play it. If I do end up having to delete the file, you can expect it will be a loooong time before I restart this challenge. It's not an easy challenge. I cannot stand toddlers on the sims, plus there's always like 5 or six kids living in the house whose needs you have to worry about. It's overwhelming honestly. 

I'm a brooding person when it comes to my sims games. I get very upset when I have to uninstall a game or delete a file because it doesn't work anymore. I invested a lot of time into this challenge so if no solution comes and I have to delete the file, don't expect me to restart it right away. I mean, expect several months to go by.

I hate the people on thesims3.com. Seriously, not everyone is a tech savvy as you are. How 'bout you explain it the common man that doesn't understand all these technical terms.

So please, I'm begging, if you have any idea how to solve this and you can explain it to me in an easy to understand way, I will love you forever. If you know someone that might know how to fix it then send this to them because the people on thesims3.com ignore me. Literally, the respond to everyone's problems but mine. Idk why. They just are douchebags. If this problem doesn't resolve itself, I might have to call EA technical support and see if they understand what's going on.

Baby # 23 (End of Generation 1)

This is the final father of generation 1. His name is Kristofer...i don't remember his last name.

Benjamin lacks the motivation to get out of be. Don't worry, I feel your pain.

It's seems like Juno inherited her mother's interest in painting. That's all she ever wants to do.

I present to you baby #23, the final baby of generation 1...

Nicholas McKinney. Nicholas is a Greek name meaning "victory of the people". I was so excited when I drew this name. I love the name Nicholas.

So it's seems we've come to the end of the line for Starr McKinney. In accordance to the rules, the youngest daughter continues the legacy. Jana McKinney will succeed her mother in being baby making machine when she's old enough.

I've come to know and love Starr and I'm going to miss her, but it can't go on forever. My goal is to get the 100 babies born in 4 generations, which means Jana will have to have at least 27 babies to help complete my goal. Can she do it? Do I have the patience to raise 27 kids from the bottom up, probably not, but dammit, I'm gonna try!

The next few post are going to be about Generation 1 as a whole, so be prepared. It might take a few days to get out because I'm going to be playing with some of Starr's children that have left the nest already.

Baby #22

Before we start, I want to show you the amazing thing Benjamin found.

If some of you don't recognize it, I understand. It's a pink diamond which, with the limited number of expansions I have, is the most valuable and rare gem one can find. I have no idea how he found it. He just came home from a field trip with a pink diamond. I once had a sim that was a gem collector and I scoured the town many times to find it so that way he would've found one of each gem. Couldn't find it. So go, Benjamin. I bet we can guess who the favorite child is now?

This dashing young man is Raul Davenport. I picked him because his first name sounds Latino and he looks a bit Latino...so, yeah. I know have babies of every race...except Native American that is.

Benjamin and Logan play some video games together. Is it just me, or does Logan look evil. Video games, they're serious business!

Baby #21

Welcome to Starr's most uneventful pregnancy to date. I'm not even kidding. I went to open up the pictures and there were 4. Four picture I took in a 3 day time period.

This is Edgardo or something like that, can't remember his last name. All I know is that it was Italian sounding. He apparently is one of the maids. I don't know what's up with my game, but they always send me man maids. It's either Dante or this guy, though it's usually Dante. I don't know what happen to the lady maid. She just stopped showing up one day.

Here's a picture of Baylen and Joseph Lacy. If you don't remember who Joseph Lacy is, he's April's son which would make him Starr's grandson.

Off to the hospital once more. And hey, there's that Einstein guy that's the father of one of Starr's kids. Don't remember which one. There's been a lot of fathers, I can't keep them all straight. Didn't I tell you this pregnancy was uneventful.

Jana McKinney (Jana, huh? huh? Be proud. I legitly laughed when I drew the name and I'm like Jana will be so proud.). Jana is a Slavic name meaning "God is gracious".

I've now reached the maximum of 8 sims per household, so Jana's probably going to be a child by the time I'm done. That's a bummer because I don't think Starr has many days left before she becomes an elder.

Oh and there were also two new grandchildren added to the family. I don't remember one of their names, but I know there's Alyssa Abreu.

Babies #19 and #20

This is going to be a picture-tastic post, just so you know.

So this is the next father, Antwan Haley. And I didn't know this when they were having sexy time, but he's actually the new repairman because I guess Clark got to old. I don't know his life. Anyways, this is the second repairman Starr's fucked. She must have a fetish for them. I imagine her favorite pick up line is "Is that a wrench in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

You see this. This picture right here. For some strange reason, Logan and Baylen never stop crying. Even when they're in a perfect mood, they cry. It's more Baylen than Logan, but my god, does Starr have to give you her undivided attention every second in order to please you. Well news flash, there's five kids in the house and only one Starr. She can't pay attention to everyone at the same time.

And Starr decided to start showing in the middle of the bathroom which made my life difficult because I was trying to grow Benjamin up but it wasn't working because she was just frozen there for a really long time.

If Baylen means "auburn haired" then I guess I picked the right name for her.

Boy, what are you wearing? Logan is really into warm colors. All of his outfits by default consisted of oranges, reds, and yellows. And you can't tell from this picture but Logan has purple eyes.

That's not weird at all. Why do ghosts come out of their graves just to sleep? I never understood that.

Look at this fine family picture. Here we have Luke and Lacia, the uncle who's younger than his niece, and in the background there's April and Joseph. Considering her husband is like...black, it's really weird how white her children are.

I decided to give Starr some much deserved me time. Here she is painting her latest masterpiece that was worth over $1000. Go Starr.

Juno McKinney. Juno is Latin and Juno was the goddess of marriage of childbirth I assume in the ancient Roman religion.

And baby #20

Roy McKinney. Roy is Scottish and it means "red".

I'm really bummed about his names. Of all the names on the list, Roy was the one I really didn't want to pick. The only reason I put it down was because of Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist. It's just not a good name. Sorry if your name is Roy, I'm just not a big fan of the name.
